Reliable Sidestream Capnography for Veterinary Patients
The Bionet Sidestream CO₂ Sensor continuously measures end-tidal CO₂, inspired CO₂ and respiration rate using a low sample flow of 50 mL/min. With the CO₂ sensor positioned away from the patient’s airway, only the lightweight sampling connection attaches to the breathing circuit.
Designed for use with the Brio XVet Series, the Bionet Sidestream CO₂ Sensor supports respiratory monitoring during anesthesia, recovery, emergency care and other procedures requiring continuous assessment of ventilation.

Setup and Zero Calibration
The Bionet Mainstream EtCO₂ Sensor does not require routine gas calibration. However, an adapter-zero procedure is recommended before patient use.
For the most reliable results, connect the sensor and allow it to warm up for five minutes before performing the zero-calibration procedure. Complete the procedure with the appropriate airway adapter installed and exposed to room air. Do not perform zero calibration while the adapter is connected to the patient or breathing circuit.
